This Remote power switching and sensing device uses a Microchip Technology PIC 16F676 to control up to a 40-amp load via logic-level switch inputs. It protects water pumps from “run-dry” damage as well as blockage, over-current, and other abuses. It can diagnose these conditions and shut off with a few milliseconds if required.
