Comfort Alert
This diagnostic unit for use inside AC compressor is capable of identifying 9 different malfunctions of the unit and storing them in EEPROM memory for use by factory technicians. Diagnostics are shown as a sequence of blinks on an internal LED. Uses custom current sensing transformers for inexpensive, non-contact current monitoring up to 40 amps. Internal microcontroller is a Microchip Technology PIC 16F627. Circuit and software design in the USA, tooled and manufactured in China.
